Ms.De'Aira

Owner/Instructor

I'm De'Aira, a native of Georgia, and I've dedicated over 15 years of my life to the art of dance. From a young age, I found joy in sharing my passion with my community, and at just 15 years old, I took the leap and started my very first dance camp. Over the years, that camp grew and expanded, providing me with the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the YMCA and various summer programs. However, my ultimate dream was always to establish a dance studio where I could teach and inspire young minds through dance on a full-time basis.

My journey led me to the University of Georgia, where I pursued my formal education in dance, honing my skills and developing deeper into the art form. Along the way, I had the privilege of training under renowned figures such as Alvin Ailey 2, Travis Wall, and members of the Garth Fagan Company, an experience that enriched my understanding and appreciation of dance.

Beyond my personal growth as a dancer, I've also had the exciting opportunity to showcase my talent on television series like "American Soul" and "Boomerang." While these moments were undoubtedly thrilling, my heart has always been drawn to teaching and nurturing young dancers.

For me, teaching dance and making a positive impact on the lives of youth has been my true calling from the very beginning. Witnessing the growth and transformation of my students as they explore the world of dance brings me immense joy and fulfillment. It's a privilege to be a part of their journey and to help them discover their own artistic potential and witness the character development along the way.

More recently, I've expanded my horizons and embarked on the path of Behavioral Therapy and Preschool Teaching. These additional experiences have allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of child development and strengthen my ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment for young learners.

I am determined to provide a space where creativity flourishes, and the youth can find their voices through the beauty of movement. My commitment to inspiring and empowering the next generation of dancers remains steadfast, and I look forward to creating a lasting impact on their lives.
